"Higher Dani, good, don't flex your toes its a 1/10 deduction, better" Sasha Belov instructed his daughter who was performing on the uneven bars

"Excuse me, Mr Belov? Mr Belov." Steve Tanner called coming into view

"Steve Tanner" Belov said with a hint of annoyance in his voice

"I'm sorry for just showing up like this, but I left messages, I've tried contacting you" Steve explained

"Fetita, ( daughter) why don't you take a 5 minute rest, we'll continue later." Sasha told his daughter

"Of course Tata" Danielle said grabbing her towel and water

"The reason I didn't return your calls is because I have no interest in your offer" Sasha said cleaning up and grabbing a fishing rod

"Look its been 5 years since you dropped out. You're fading into obscurity. For a man of your talents that must be hard to watch" Tanner explained

"Not if you don't watch" Sasha said

"You expect me to believe that the man who reinvented the sport doesn't even watch it anymore" Steve said in disbelief

"I have much more important responsibilities these days." Sasha said in reference to his daughter. "I also don't know you Mr Tanner so I don't expect you to believe anything" Sasha said with bitterness

Danielle watched on the sidelines, knowing it was wrong to ease drop but she knew she was the reason he didn't coach anymore, ever since her mother left when she was born, her father dedicated his life to her and her gymnastics.

"You assembled what is perhaps the greatest team in history of this sport. I think you can do it again, and I'm prepared to offer you whatever you want" Steve bargained.

"You think I left England to compete in Romania because I wanted money, who do I look like, David Beckham" Sasha said

"Yes, actually you do" Tanner answered seriously

"I'm sorry you wasted your time Tanner." Sasha said

"All right" Tanner said feeling defeated

"Tell your daughter Lauren she's picking her layouts it's costing her ½ of a point" Sasha advised

"I thought you stopped watching" Steve said as he turned around

"You don't fish do you Tanner" Sasha said

"No, I…" Steve answered

"It wasn't a question, see fishing is all about finding the right lure, and that club team you had at the rock, that was the best I've seen in a decade. But then you took your daughter and my old friend Marty Walsh to Denver." Sasha explained

"I can get rid of Walsh in Denver" Tanner said

"I'm not interested in Denver, if the rock was still together we might have something to talk about. You see Tanner, when you broke those girls up you lost your lure. Good day Mr. Tanner. Sasha said as Tanner left

"We're going to Colorado, aren't we" Dani asked her father as she stepped away from her hiding spot

"Yes, I think you've done enough for today, why don't you call Bunic ( Grandfather)" Sasha said as he sat on the couch head in his hands

"Ok, daddy? Dani asked as she sat next to him

"Yes" Sasha said in surprise, it was rare when Dani called him daddy instead of Dad

"Do you ever regret leaving, I know how much you loved…" Dani explained

"Never because I love you more than any amount of gold medals or sponsorships" Sasha said looking at his daughter. Now off to bed ok, snowflake" Sasha said as he kissed her forehead

"I love you too, goodnight" Dani said
