It would probably have raised a few eyebrows if he hadn't been such a hypochondriac, as it was no one even blinked, even when they were going to a world at night.
He had never even been questioned, just ridiculed and he considered that a small sacrifice.
And if it happened to come in handy for something other than keeping his skin burn free and if John just so happened to be sitting gingerly the next day with an even wider smile than usual then that was nobody's business.
