Tears rolling down her cheeks; Veronica's body shook as she stared into the blue green eyes in front of her. "You said you loved me!" She screamed into the thunder and lighting.
Tears rolled down her cheeks along with the rain. Her mouth opened. Then snapped closed. Her fists tightened against her side.
Veronica couldn't stand the distance. She rushed over and placed her hands on the sides of her soulmate's face. "You don't have to do this B. Honest. We can make this work."
"How." Betty finally spoke. Raw anger lit up her eyes. "How?! Seriously Ronnie how is this going to work?"
"Don't give up the fight B. Please don't." Veronica begged now that Betty finally spoke to her. She watched the raw emotions coarse through her beloved's blue green eyes. She knew Betty's nails were cutting into tender skin once more. She leaned forward and captured her beloved's lips with her own. In a rough and bruising kiss. Her hands slid down Betty's cheeks and arms; she was soon resting her hands on top of the blonde's. Gently trying to ease Betty's clenched fingers.
Betty struggled as she leaned into the kiss. She tried to hold onto the anger to keep pressing her finger nails into her palms. To draw as much blood as she could. To draw as much pain as she could. She felt the calming effect that Veronica always drew from her. She mewled into the kiss.
Veronica pulled her lips away as she felt the need of air hit her. Resting her forehead against Betty's. "That's how." She breathed.
Betty stared into the chocolate brown eyes which were mere inches from her own. Her fists slowly unclenched. She breathed in a chocking breath. "I'm sorry." She meekly spoke.
Veronica right hand rose and gently stroke the side of her lover's face. "There's nothing to be sorry for B." She leaned in for a gentle soft kiss. "Nothing." She breathed as she wrapped her arms around her beloved and pulled her tightly against her. She felt Betty's hands against her back.
