A/N: If you read my profile, you'll see that I'm writing a crack pairing. This is it's original form- a small omake (for Drunken Party). I decided to post this since it's taking me bloody forever to complete the story, so I'll post it first in its former omake format. See if you like it!
Omake
"I never kissed a girl." Kaidoh, blushing furiously, drank quickly and practically flung his cup on the table.
It was a lovely day out. The slight morning breeze was cool, taking the edge off the hot summer day. It was perfect weather for a morning jog. Besides, they were out of food. It was time for some grocery shopping. Kaidoh grabbed his towel and his bandana, running out the door without saying goodbye to his flatmate.
He soon fell into the familiar breathing pattern as he ran. In, out, in, out. He turned at a corner, crossed a street, turned again. He found himself at a busy street.
The market was just a bit further. Kaidoh was slightly disappointed that his run would be over soon. He loved running, after all. It would be wonderful if he could just run all the time. Or play tennis. Whichever worked.
So caught up was he in his own thoughts, that he didn't notice the dog at his feet. It gave a loud yelp as he tripped over it. A brown-haired girl in front of him looked up at the dog's yelp, and Kaoru only had the chance to see shock in the warm eyes before he bowled into her. As they fell, he quickly twisted his body, landing so that he would protect the girl.
He lay on the pavement, feeling a bit bruised. His lips were touching something soft and warm, and he thought faintly about how nice it felt. His eyes refocused, and he realized that the girl was still on top of him. His eyes widened when he realized whom it was- and where his lips were.
In the same instant, the girl sat up, breaking the unplanned kiss. Her eyes were still wide open in shock as she looked down at Kaidoh, who looked just as stunned as she did. Her cheeks flushed a dark red as she realized what had happened. "Ah, sorry, uh, I… um…" stammering, she lowered her eyes, avoiding all eye contact with Kaidoh.
Hoping to avoid more awkwardness, Kaidoh quickly picked up the black bag beside him and carefully sat up, dislodging the girl gently. "Sorry," he said quietly, standing and brushing himself off. "Are you hurt?"
The girl shook her head, standing quickly. "Um… thanks for cushioning my fall," she said softly, smiling shyly up at him. Kaidoh found himself startled by her eyes. They were almost captivating…
And then she grabbed her black bag, which had fallen on the ground, and ran away hastily.
Kaidoh bent and picked up his own bag. Shrugging slightly, he continued on his way.
It was only later at work that he realized that the bag wasn't his. After discovering this fact, he also discovered a small label inside the bag.
"Ryuzaki Sakuno. Call *** **** if you find this bag, or return it to this address: **** ****** st."
Kaidoh couldn't wait for the end of his shift.
*** Owari ***
A/N: Ugh, couldn't figure out a way to end this. Anyways… so, I'm writing a much longer version of this. Slightly different scene from this as well. I only meant to write this much for the omake, but then I thought of some other ideas, and I decided to string them together into a long chapter fic. So, because that won't be posted for a long time, I decided to put this up instead. Hope you enjoyed it! And if you did, REVIEW! Please! Actually, even if u hated it, review anyways to tell me what I did wrong!
