Brady lay in his room. Lately many things had been on his mind. Well its not really many things, its more of one person on a recurring loop inside his head. He didn't know why. He had never shown an interest in this person when he watched the film in his workshop or on the beach. He always fantasised over Lela. He had never, and i mean never, shown an interest in Butchy. So what had changed in his time here. He spent little time with Butchy as it was but now he would be acting awkward andhe couldn't risk Butchy finding out. What would he say if he did find out that Brady liked him. What would he do. Even though he isn't in the 60's anymore he might not be very accepting of the situation. Sowhat was he going to do nowthat he had to go and meet Butchy to show him how to live in 2015. He was even worse than Tanner when it came to the "Lady in the tiny box" as the call it.
Brady was walking along to the beach when he saw what he thought was Butchy flirtingwith someone. He couldnt quite make out the face but he was pretty sure it was seacat. He continued watching and confirmed it. He was flirting. He sneaked over to where they were standingand began to eavesdrop on their conversation. To his surprise he heard Butchy say that in actual fact he was "practicing his moves for Brady" on seacat and that he felt something special when he saw Brady sing "Cruising for a bruising." Then Butchy was headed to the beach to meet Brady. S Brady ran to the beach to be there before him. He needed a little time to think about what he had just heard. Not only was his love for Butchy being returned but he believed he was about to get asked out by Butchy. His most recent dreams were coming true. He alwayswanted to get into his first relationship to begin on a beach. Partially because of his love for surfing but also because of how beautiful the calm pristine sea was at night under the moonlight. Such a romantic setting. He lost track of time in his daydream and didnt realise that Butchy was standing next to him wondering what was going on.
'errrm hey.' he said waving his hand in front of Brady's face startling him outof his imagination.
'Oh er hey.' He responded as cool as he could even though inside his heart was racing. He couldnt express how much he loved Butchy but he did.
'Look Brady, theres something i wanted to talk to you about before we start our meeting. Its just that recently I've been wondering ... I've been thinking ... I've been feeling like there might be something between u-' the last word was disrupted by Brady's lips on his in the best kiss he had ever had. Brady was loving this moment and didnt want it to end. They were on the most remote part of the beach as not to get noticed that only he and Mack went to at right about this time of the day. Granted it wasn't dark but - wait Mack. He had completely forgotten about her and she was nowhere to be seen as far as he knew. He thought maybe that she had taken a day off from surfing or cleaning up the beach. But in reality she was hidden amog the trees with her mouth hanging asshe could not believe what she just saw.
