I heard - over the grapevine - that Daisuke's name appears in Digimon Adventure Tri's files.

Now, will this can mean a possible cameo/appearence or is it simply a mistake, I don't know. But this drabble will be based on the notion that it is true :D

Together Like This

"Daisuke..." Takeru started as he held his boyfriend's hand.

Behind him Patamon, who was busily chatting with the other Digimon, didn't notice as the older group and Hikari exchanged surprised glances. No one had expected the younger redhead to appear right as they were about to leave and deal with the new threat in the Digital World, not even his boyfriend. Yet, here he was, the child of Miracles. Holding his napping partner in his arms as he stared into Takeru's blue eyes with a determinated expression on his face.

"Don't Daisuke me." he replied. "Gennai asked me to come."

Takeru gaped at him and as he was doing that, Hikari chuckled, causing the rest of the group to giggle with her. As he shot them a look, the younger blonde wondered if that was true. Maybe his beloved, sad at the premise of being alone until he could return, decided to cook up the lie... and... but as the redhead raised his D-3, they could see that it was beeping in the same manner as theirs had merely an hour ago.

"I told you, didn't I? That we would save the Digital World together... like this..." the sun reflected Daisuke's promise ring as his hold on the other's hand thighened. "You can't get rid of me that easily!" he smiled.

"Wouldn't dream of it." Takeru bumped their foreheads together and they shared a secret look only they knew until...

"If you two are done being lovey-dovey, we have a world to save."

... his brother just had to speak up in his most sardonic voice ever, eh? Frowning, Takeru watched the redhead pull away and run over to his sempais, claiming that he was ready and that they shouldn't underestimate him or V-mon.

The blonde couldn't help but feel that something was bound to go wrong when he saw something flash in Yamato's eyes. A new thing was eating up his brother. He also had a feeling that Taichi-san knew as well as he secretly slid his hand into the older blonde's. They would find out. Of that he was certain.

Hikari's voice woke him up from his deep thoughts as she and Daisuke waved at him, implying that he should get moving or 'they would leave him behind.'

Laughing somewhat freely, Takeru ran towards his boyfriend and best friend and hugged them both as they walked towards the older group slowly disappearing into a Digital network.

Together like this? Everything would be just fine.
