Umm, just a little drabble I wrote when I was supposed to be doing my mountains of art homework. To clear up any doubt, Riley doesn't officially live with Abigail and Ben, he just can't be bothered to go home most of the time and has claimed one of the many spare rooms as is own and has half his possessions there.
Hope you like it!
"I'm bored" Riley fell gracelessly into one of Ben's many beloved armchairs. He used his foot to draw his box of comic books from under the coffee table and rummaged in search of an interesting one. With an annoyed sighed he flumped back and lay his hand dramatically over his eyes.
Abigail grinned and ruffled his hair affectionately as she passed.
"Its summer, you should be frolicking. You need a girlfriend." She said matter-of-factly as she poured out a glass of lemonade ad passed it over to him. Riley glanced at it suspiciously and yelled urgently over his shoulder.
"Ben….your wife is saying creeping stuff again." He took a cautious sip of the lemonade and smiled in satisfaction.
There was a deep chuckle as Ben rounded the corner into his favourite of his many sunny sitting rooms.
"Riley needs a girlfriend, don't you think hun?" Abi tilted her head up to receive a light kiss and passed her husband a drink as he sat down on the sofa beside her.
"The longest relationship Riley has managed lasted 3 weeks… in second grade." Ben tactfully ignored Riley's scowls and took a sip from the glass in his hands.
"And how would you know?" Riley defended, an indignant look gracing his sweet little face.
"You got drunk at Christmas." Ben stated simply, lifting his arm to draw Abi into a hug.
Riley blushed like tomato and picked up the first comic in the box to hide his face.
"You bully me."
Yay, thank you for reading my little ficlet!
