A/N: This is in memory of Eddie Guerrero. We'll miss you, Papi. Bet anything you're lying, cheating, and stealing in Heaven!
Time for Good-Byes
"Did you hear what happened to Eddie Guerrero?"
After a long night at work, this was the last thing I expected to see as soon as I logged online on Sunday night. You know, it's strange, because the night before, I tried to tape Friday Night SmackDown while I was at work and my VCR was being stupid. In a way, it's really eerie because the next day, Eddie died.
I tried writing a fitting poem for him, but poetry is not my forte. I think the best way for me to get out my feelings about his passing is through this. Forgive me if it's a little random, but that's how my mind works.
I've been watching wrestling for a little over a year. The first wrestler I remember cheering on is Eddie Guerrero. Every week, my boyfriend and I would watch him, with that big grin on his face and him lying, cheating, and stealing for a win.
And now that's gone.
Watching SmackDown the past couple of weeks, it seemed like Eddie was turning around. When Batista gave him the lowrider and he came out to "Viva La Raza", I just knew he was back. The same Eddie who lied, cheated, and stole his way to victory.
And now, he's gone.
Words can't really describe how I feel. All I can say is this. The memories we all have of Eddie Guerrero will live on in our hearts forever.
Latino Heat may be gone, but he will NEVER be forgotten. Good-bye, Eddie, our Latino Heat.
Rest in Peace
Eddie Guerrero
