It was a bright and sunny day as superheroes came from all around the world to pay their respects to the deceased BeastBoy. The mood wasn't though, as everyone was somber and sad. The Doom Patrol sat up front as they mourned. Even Veteran superheroes such as Superman had tears on their faces. Of course no one was as sad as his former teammates. The remaining four teen titans stood at the podium in a line to say things about him. Starfire went up first.

"He always brought a smile to my face no matter what" Then she couldn't continue as she started bawling. Next up was Robin.

"BeastBoy was too young to die a death like that. It should have been me. I will miss him so much." Not able to say more he also went back to his place. Then cyborg went up.

"He was like a little brother to me. I am sad i didn't get more time with him. BeastBoy i miss you so much" he said as tears streamed down his face. Last up was Raven.

" While it may have seemed like i didn't enjoy his company but it was the complete opposite. I loved the way he always tried to make me laugh no matter what and when he failed he tried again. He made me feel special even though i didn't show it. Thats the thing i regret the most. I should have laughed at his jokes and not been so mean to him. I should have let him see me smile more. BeastBoy i love you and always will. I hope you'll be waiting for me on the other side." She quickly turned around so no one would see the tears streaming down her face.

After everyone had paid their respects to the young hero they had a reception to remember the good times. Two hours into it the titans decided to head home. Once they got home it finally hit them. He was gone forever. No more silly banter, or tofu vs meat arguments, no more video games, basically no more Beastboy. The tower seemed lonelier than usual. Without him they all seemed less cheerful. Starfire never smiled as much and when she did it never was as broad as before. Cyborg stopped playing video games altogether and sold the gamestation. Robin worked himself even harder to try and prevent things like that from happening in the future and becoming even more withdrawn than usual. Raven was ok during the day, but at night she'd cry so much as she relived that horrible moment. No one was the same.
