Majora's Mask: Afterward
Link trekked through the Lost Woods on Epona, looking for his old fairy companion, Navi. It had been a year since the whole ordeal in Termina, and during that year, Link had been looking for Navi. The reason why... The little fairy had been helpful to Link, but as soon as Zelda sent them back, she just... left. No goodbye, no explanation, she just left without a word. After Link got back to Kokiri Forest, Link asked everyone about Navi. Link was told by Saria that there was a blue light flying into the Lost Woods a while ago. That was when Link got Epona and left into the Lost Woods, thus leading to what happened in Termina. Now, he had been travelling for a year, almost. Lately, he had been seeing a blue light occasionally, and had also heard a faint chiming a few times. He knew he was close.
~Time skip of 1 day~
Link got off Epona and walked to the fairy fountain that he had seen a blue light go into. He prayed to the goddesses that he had found Navi at last. When Navi saw him, her glow brightened and she flew up to him. "Link! How did you get here?" Navi asked. "Saria said that she saw a blue light go into the Lost Woods, and I hoped it was you." Link replied, his voice a bit rough from not speaking much. Navi asked him, "Why did you follow me? Why did you want to find me?" Link replied with, "Because you mean a lot to me, Navi." At those words, Navi's glow got a bit pink. "O-oh.", she said.
After a day or so, Navi decided to go back to the Kokiri Forest. From there, they lived quite happily. However, neither one ever revealed their true feelings. That they loved each other.
