Author's Note: This is a really sad songfic I wrote about how Neo Queen Serenity would deal with Sailor Chibi-Moon's death. The funny thing is, even though the song is sort of slow, it's not really a "sad" song.

In Crystal Tokyo
(to the tune of "Cathedrals" by Jump Little Children)

(Verse 1)
In the shadows of the tall buildings,
A Queen is praying, she is kneeling.
White wings with feathers lie on the concrete.
A faded solider, a life left incomplete.
Her tears fall slowly, from her desperate face,
A shadow's fallen over this grand, white place.

(Chorus)
In Crystal Tokyo, where only beauty's known
There is a feeling that this place isn't home.
But you'll spend a lifetime finding out just where that is.

(Verse 2)
In the shadows of the tall buildings,
The others can't hold back their feelings.
Crystal statues watch her trying,
As she tries to stop her daughter's dying.
Time passes slowly, the moments fade away.
So many things that she had left to say.

In Crystal Tokyo, where only beauty's known
There is a feeling that this place isn't home
But we'll spend a lifetime finding out just where that is.

(Verse 3)
In the shadows of the tall buildings
Broken hearts are endlessly reeling
Silent sobbing, echoing silence
But she is listening from a safe distance
The screams rise high into the fading light
A final breath and then her eyes shut tight

In Crystal Tokyo, where only beauty's known,
There is a feeling that this place just isn't home.
But she'll spend a lifetime finding out just where that is.

In Crystal Tokyo, where beauty was once known,
The Queen can never again call this place home.
She'll spend a lifetime trying to find out just where that is.
