Disclaimer: I do not own Fullmetal Alchemist. I simply just like writing random stuff that happens to involve the characters. This was a really random story that just popped into my head so here it is.
Desks
Riza walked into Roy's office where Roy was discussing something with Ed. She had another stack of about 20 papers for Roy.
"Here are the rest of them." She set them on his desk.
"You're kidding me, right?" he said with a despaired look on his face.
"It's only twenty more. You'll live."
"He complains a lot doesn't he?" asked Ed with a grin. Roy just gave him a glare. Havoc knocked and walked in.
"I'm not interrupting any secret conference am I?"
"No come on in."
Havoc walked over to a desk they used to keep certain files and papers in. Roy, Ed, and Riza continued their conversation. Roy fully aware that Havoc had a major crush on Riza brought up the date she had last night.
"So how was your date last night Riza?"
This caught Havoc's attention and he looked up only for a moment. In the process he dropped a paper and it flew under the desk.
"He was pretty nice. Very attractive. He suggests we go out on another date."
Suddenly they heard a big bump and Havoc yelled, "Ow shit!"
Riza, Roy, and Ed all proceeded to laugh.
In between laughing Riza said, "What does that bother you?"
Roy laughing still said, "How could you have possibly hit your head while picking up a paper?"
"Owww! Son of a bitch!" was his reply.
Ed spoke in between laughs as well saying, "You know that could have knocked him out."
Roy replied with, "Well he hasn't passed out yet!"
Hughes walked through the doorway hearing the commotion from out in the hall.
"What the hell is going on?"
He then saw Havoc on the floor clutching his head. He tried not to laugh too much but it was just too funny. Still laughing, Roy answered Hughes question.
"I-I think Havoc…might have actually," Roy took a breath in before continuing, "hurt himself."
"Damn that hurts!" Havoc said while staggering trying to stand up.
"He hit so hard Roy's coffee was jiggling over here." Riza said her laughter dying down.
"Shut up Riza! This hurts!"
"I think you'll be ok." She said.
"You probably have a huge knot on your head." Hughes said from the doorway.
"Yeah I bet." Havoc was successfully standing up but still rubbing his head. He picked up his papers.
"Well I think I've made enough of an idiot out of myself. See you guys later."
Hughes took his leave behind Havoc needing to be in a meeting.
"Riza I think you should go talk to Havoc." Roy suggested.
"Why?"
He gave her a look that said you-know-what-I-mean. Edward caught this and after asking Roy he understood what was going on. He grinned and helped shoo her out of Roy's office so she'd go and talk to Havoc and so Roy and Ed could 'talk'.
She found Havoc out at his desk working on something. She walked over to him not really knowing what to say. He looked up at her.
"You ok?"
"Yeah little fuzzy but I think I'll be alright."
"Good." She stopped and thought for a moment and then said, "Just so you know I told my date I was interested in someone else."
His face automatically lit up. She smiled at him.
"Think you'll be ok now?"
"Better than ever."
