The Sake Jug

The sake jug was empty. After convincing them to drink with him, Miroku sat in a circle with InuYasha, Kagome and Sango as the sun set. Shippo had fallen asleep earlier, curled up with Kirara. They all stared woozily at the sake jug, and Miroku gave it a lazy spin.

Kagome watched the jug spin around, hiccupped and giggled.

"What's so funny, wench?" InuYasha slurred, quirking an eyebrow at her.

"This reminds me of a game," Kagome said. "It's called spin the bottle."

"And what is supposed to happen when you spin the bottle?" Miroku asked.

A mischievous look came to Kagome's face. The others watched her warily as her eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Someone spin the bottle, and when it points at somone, I will let you know what happens."

InuYasha crossed his arms and shot Kagome a look of incredulity.

"Trust me," Kagome said, and hiccupped again.

"Okay Kagome-chan, I'm game," Sango said.

Clapping her hands happily, Kagome grinned as Sango reached over and gave the jug a spin. She watched avidly as the jug spun in wobbly circles, her fingers crossed. The jug began to slow down. It stopped…pointing at Miroku!

"Okay Sango-chan!" Kagome crowed. "Now you have to kiss Miroku!"

"WHAT!?" Sango screeched and stood up…too quickly.

Toppling over, Miroku was there to catch her.

"Now for my kiss!" Miroku said.

Sango had no time to react as he kissed her passionately.

"Hah!" InuYasha laughed, and accidentally kicked the jug…It pointed at Kagome, and he blushed.
