This is a little thingy that I wrote when I was bored. There are some spelling and grammar mistakes in it and it might be boring as hell, just so you know ^^
Edmund woke up in his beautiful canopied bed. It was made of wood with little cupids and angels carved in it, and although Lucy and Susan had
said they thought it was beautiful too, Edmund wasn't afraid to say that he loved it. Well, of course he didn't say he loved it, but it was quite
obvious. Whenever Peter, Susan or Lucy entered the room in the evenings, they often found Edmund stroking the dark brown wood (if he
wasn't doing anything important, of course). Anyway, when Edmund woke up that morning, he saw that it snowed outside. Edmund didn't like
snow at all; you could maybe even say he hated it. But Edmund was an important man in Narnia with important stuff to do, so he got out of his
bed (with very little excitement, though).
After he had dressed himself, he walked to the eating hall where his siblings already were eating. "Good morning" he said to them. Lucy smiled
her bright Lucy-smile. "A good morning to you too, Ed. Did you sleep well?" she asked. Edmund nodded in response while he sat down at the
table. "So, are any of us doing anything special today?" he asked, mainly to Peter, since he was the one that planned a lot of the stuff they
had to do. Said brother looked a bit... ashamed at that question, as he looked at Edmund. "Well, yeah, about that..." he answered. "Today, I
have to go negotiate with the Calormenes, but they kind of hate me. Would you mind going with me? We could use a little reason there." Of
course Edmund did mind. The Calormenes were impurtinent and abnoxious, but Edmund couldn't let his brother go alone. Besides, he really liked
it that Peter saw him as the reasonable one (in this case), and he also liked the fact that his brother apparently thought he was mature enough
for something like that. Edmund smiled. "Of course I wouldn't. When are we leaving?"
What did you think? :)
