Author note; I was writing this at 11.45 at night, after my other angst/drama story got good reviews
****************Chapter one- Heero tries to commit suicide*****************
`There,' Heero said ,out loud, `One........one more gash......' His voice was slurred, though he wasn't drunk. The knife danced in front of his eyes as he reached for it to deliver the final blow.
`Funny,' Heero said, his voice more stable, `I always thought as myself as a jumper, `cause too much blood has been shed already...........but, Hell, who cares?!'
`Funny,' a voice said from the shadows, `I always thought you wouldn't......'
Heero spun round, wielding the black-handled knife, but this made him dizzier then he was from loss of blood.
Quarte stepped out of the shadows. He didn't advance, just stood, as if waiting for some sort of sign, like a robot.
`Nah, ya wouldn't jump! You tried that before remember? All ya got was a broken leg!' said another voice. Heero span again, this time nearly slipping in his own blood. The world lurched sickeningly around him, and he landed with a dull thud. He sternly pulled himself up into a sitting position, and saw Duo appear from the shadows. He stood like, and next to Quarte.
`Yes, too much blood has been lost, but it isn't your fault,' said yet another voice. Heero recognized it as Trowa, and soon, Trowa appeared from the shadows.
`Who cares indeed?' came the fourth voice. Heero didn't need to ask who this was. Wufei appeared
`We care, Heero,' said the four other pilots.
`You do?' asked Heero, voice trembling, with emotion more then loss of blood.
`Yes, Hee-chan..........' Duo stepped foreword. `Heero........I love you.....'
With that, Heero collapsed.
