Disclaimer: I do not own Case Closed/ Detective Conan.
Author's note: I had to write a story for French 1, and this is it. I decided to post it on fan fiction since that's what it is. Sorry if you can't understand the French, but if you really want to be confused try to read my "Ranma verses a Bat" fic. Now there's a toughie!
Jimmy's Back From Paris!
"Dad, I'm going to go and pick up Jimmy at the train station!" Ran said as she grabbed her crochet coat and just as she opened the door Jimmy came bursting through.
"Bonjour , you were late picking me up at the train depot, mademoiselle. Wow, quite an honorable mannequin physique you have, Monique. It goes well with your brunette hair and petite (10) eyes. Not to mention your beautiful barrette ," he said with joy as he hung up his jacket. He then cat down in the chaise and inspected the room.
He then pulled out a giant stack of sticky notes. He began writing furiously on them. After that he engaged in putting them on various items around the room.
"What's this," Richard said as he picked up some of the sticky notes with chaise lounge and armoire written on it.
"My detective work led me all the way to Baton Rouge and then a beautiful chateau Paris! Finding that dossier was harder than I thought. Now I must educate you in this bien language. But first I must take you, Fifi (18) on our delayed tete a tete or should I say rendezvous at Chez Pepi ," with this Jimmy handed Ran a bouquet of flowers and dragged her out the door.
"My name's Ran not Fifi," Ran tried to explain. Five minutes later they arrived at the local French café,"Art Noveaux ".
"This isn't where I wanted to go, but it has a pleasant palisade so we'll stay," Jimmy said as he handed 5 franc to the chauffeur.
"I can't read the menu?" Ran said staring at the entirely French menu at an oblique.
"Relax, it's très bien cuisine, Pierre. They have omelet, escargot , and filet mignon. "
"For the last time my name's Ran and Pierre's a guy's name! I just want some croissants and hors d'ouevres. " Jimmy, who seemed confused as well, decided to change the subject.
"I know the chef here; well actually he's just the sous chef, but still. Are you holding up Jacques? Should I get you a pie a la mode? "
"This must be deja vue. I'm out of here," Ran said standing up "Plus, my name's not Jacques, that's a boy's name!"
"Please don't leave; I will take you to a croquet game, or a chic store! Just please suite this date." Jimmy pleaded as Ran sighed and sat back down. "Oui, merci, (46) pleading fait accompli. Soufflé for everyone, my treat!" Jimmy said with joy.
Thus the date continued. Jimmy and Ran both got crepe and decided that on the next date that they would go to a more sous English restaurant.
