JASON
So, yes. Wind can be contained. Within tattoos? Apparently so.
Jason Grace stood over the side of the Argo II as the giant ship started to sail towards Athens, to stop the giants from waking Gaea. He thought of his future, and wondered if it was right that he chose Camp Half-Blood in the house of the west wind. Sure it was better, not as much violence and more training in his opinion, but what was there afterwards?
Would he live the rest of his life pretending to be someone he wasn't, or make sure people knew who he was? Camp Jupiter had New Rome, a place for people to settle down and live the rest of their life in a safe environment, what did Camp Half-Blood have to offer in that area?
He stood at the edge, and thought of the winds. A cold wind blew through the area. He flipped his coin and drew out his sword.
But this was different, it went to cold, then slowly rose in temperature.
"Piper! Leo! Percy! Everyone get out here!" he yelled.
One by one, six demigods came from the deck below. Percy and Annabeth still looked like they could fall any minute, but Piper was giving them ambrosia and nectar every half hour or so.
"Jeez, Jason! You didn't tell me we were in sweater weather!" Leo said.
Jason watched the expressions on each of their faces change, the exchange from cold air to hot air in a matter of seconds.
"Never mind." Leo said.
"Something is going on," Jason said.
"What is the weather alert system in your head saying?" Leo asked.
"At first I thought it was another attack from Boreas, but then it was like Notus was here…" he said.
"Wait, there's something in the water," Percy said with his eyes closed.
"Uh, yeah, it's called fish," Leo finished.
"No, it's more than that. There is something not right in the water…" he responded.
"Let's go in, you can guide us with your water powers and lead us to whatever it is," Jason said.
"You two aren't going alone, you will need my knowledge if it is related to an older myth. And Piper should come too. So she can charmspeak any monsters away." She demanded this as if she was back to health but Jason knew she wasn't.
"Okay, Hazel, Leo, and I will protect the ship," Frank decided.
The four stood on the edge of the boat, and dove into the water. Jason got bubbles from the air above to help everyone with breathing. Percy swam ahead and directed everyone like a boat following a sonar signal.
Then, everyone could see it. In the distance, a giant ball of air stood in the middle of the ocean. Air swirled around it, hot an cold air.
Jason pointed to himself, then to the ball, telling everyone he would check it out. The three nodded with understanding. He swam closer, and reached out his hand to touch it.
That's when the four winds blew out of the sea, causing a huge explosion of water to rise above the surface.
Jason was blown back, but looked ahead of him and saw a boy their age, floating in the middle of the ocean with four glowing markings, two on his feet, and two on his hands.
