AN: Sorry this is so tiny. It came to me in Math. Awhile ago. I'm going to try to finish my Christmas Short BEFORE Christmas. Haha. And I will hopefully be posting the next Chapter of Sooner or Later by the end of this week. YAY! I'm going to go hide in an underground shelter for safety now and let you all read.
REVIEW!
"Geez, Ed, I didn't know something so little could consume so much," Roy commented, resting his chin on his hand as he watched the blonde.
A noticeable twitch was his only response as Ed continued consuming the food before him.
Roy smiled softly as he watched, feeling warm and happy. Happy, instead of tormented from his past memories of the Ishbalan War.
It was their first Thanksgiving together, his first not alone for awhile. Three years had past since Maes death, and though he visited Gracia every holiday, he could never bring himself to stay longer than an hour.
He has finally found a relationship he could settle down in; though he always wondered if Maes had seen it coming. He wouldn't get the wife everyone expected of him; No, he would have someone so much better.
"What are you staring at?" Ed had finally ceased eating long enough to speak.
"You," Roy responded, reaching out to the blonde to wipe a small piece of food from his cheek. "Really Edward, you act as if you haven't had food in days. I know Al cooks for you." He rested his hand over Ed's left, rubbing small circles on the back of his tanned hand.
Ed swallowed and looked to the side, a gentle blush dusting his cheeks.
"He does. I've just… I haven't had a home-cooked meal that tasted this good for a long time. Al is great and all, but he's still adjusting to having a sense of taste."
Roy hid a wince as he imagined how that must be for Ed. And yet Al was such a good cook when he was stuck in the armor… Shaking that thought off, he gave Ed's hand a soft squeeze.
"You think my cooking is good?" Roy made it a question, thoroughly enjoying when Ed's blush deepened.
"I'm eating it, aren't I?" he said, stubbornly, stabbing another piece of turkey with his fork and shoving it in his mouth. Roy chuckled and sat back in his seat, watching the fire crack and pop.
"Pyro," Ed muttered.
Roy's eyes slid back to Ed's face, then his figure.
"Would you rather I stare at you, Edward?" he teased, knowing that using Ed's full name in that tone would turn him on. Roy received a glare before the blonde began to shovel food to his mouth again. Though Roy didn't miss the small blush Ed was now hiding.
He chuckled to himself and took Ed's free hand, caressing it gently.
"Happy Thanksgiving, Ed." He told him fondly, bringing Ed's hand to his lips for a gentle kiss.
Swallowing his mouthful of food, Ed gently squeezed Roy's hand back, hesitantly bringing his golden orbs to meet Roy's onyx eyes.
A smile caught the blonde's lips as Roy moved closer to Ed and he replied, "Happy Thanksgiving," Before he kissed Roy back, feeling warm and content.
