Note:
So everything fat is what they say in the scene in season 4 episode 6. Everything else is what the charakters think. I just thought it might be interesting to think about the diffrent perspectives especially with John and Kara having powers like Lena sugested.
In later scenes I intend to go deeper into what that means for them, for their live. I hope you enjoy. Feel free to make suggestions what I could include in the next scenes.
Alex: How did things go with your children of liberty contact?
Eliza: Doesn't seem very save James!
James: I happen to meat with a regular guy, who happen to be afraid of aliens and afraid of their capabilities and he feels inferior.
Kara: People can be powerful too. You and Alex are examples of that. James.
Lena: Yes, put not as powerful as aliens. No matter how many weights you lift, you will never be as strong as Supergirl.
Alex: No, but with technology we can hold our own. I mean I can keep up with Kara. So why should other people no be able to do so?
Lena: What if we could do more. What if we could make people super. Then it would be a fair fight. Being compared to Supergirl as a human is just not fair.
Kara: That would only create another Bizzaro and we all know how that turned out. She didn't deserve what happened to her.
Eliza: I studied alien physiology for the last 25 years. It is not possible. The biological processes that cause alien powers are incomparable with human DNA. If there was only the tiniest possibility for that, I would have found out. If you try to do that, that persons DNA would become instable.
Lena: But just say we could. Right. If James is right and people feeling inferior is what makes them join these hate groups, then we could just level the Plainfield.
Kara: Doing something out of fear is never a good idea. The worst decisions I made, were the once I mad out of fear. Supergirl lost Lena's trust because she was afraid. Does she really think that I am not afraid some times? I fight aliens that are stronger than me. Take Reign for example. I was afraid of her. I mean she almost killed me in the first fight. But that didn't mean I tried to get more powers to stop her. I also have to make do with what I have.
Alex: There have always be hate groups throughout history. And those didn't start because they were inferior. The Nazi's for example had no reason to fear the Jewish, but they still slathered them. It isn't about the powers, it is because they are different.
When Kara first came to us, I hated her, because she was different and could do things I couldn't. But most of all I hated her because she needed my parents' attention, that I missed then.
John: Last thing we need is a bunch of evil people running around with superpowers. Gosh, how could she think that would help? It will only create more chaos.
Lena: Okay, but evil people wouldn't get powers. Why would I ever give an evil person powers? That would be stupid. I would see what kind of person they are first.
Kara: I hate that human only see the bad aliens, never the hundreds of good once. Almost all of us are refugees, we only want a life in peace. We already lost so much, we don't need to draw attention to us. There are so very few bad aliens, compared with to the many good and peaceful once. Why do humans always have to see the worst?
James: So only certain people qualify? But Lena, you can't control people. You should know that best. Your brother was once a decent person. He welcomed you in the family. But then he turned to be evil. You can't decide at one point of a person's live that that person is going to be a good person for the rest of their live. They can just as well turn.
John: There will always be people who feel inferior especially if you select a few. If you create human with powers, the other human will be afraid of them. It will be just the same as now, but with more superpowered people creating chaos. Why can't people understand that most alien just want to live peacefully. We have lived amongst humans for hundreds of years. Just because humans have recently become aware of us doesn't mean we are more dangerous.
Alex: And who would decide who gets them? They'd be playing God. Serious Lena? How do you intend to decide who is a good person and who is not? You of all people should know that things aren't black and white. People judge you by your last name. Who gets to create the criteria for what makes a person evil and what not?
