Hey guys! This is the first Kingdom Hearts story I have posted on here so I hope you enjoy it!
Disclaimer: I'm only saying this once during my story since you guys will have read it on this chapter. I don't own KH or KH2.
Giving In
Chapter 1: Strange voices
Darkness…you shielded your heart from it for so long, yet you could never fully escape it…darkness always hounded you where ever you went for you are the Key Wielder of Light, but…even when you defeated it, you never defeated the true darkness…the darkness that you fear that will surface and destroy you…the darkness that resides in your heart...
Your light…is losing the battle…your heart…is losing the war.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" Sora screamed, bolting up. He quickly searched his surroundings and sighed with relief to find he was still in his bedroom. His bedroom looked like most teenagers' rooms looked like, with the few added treasures he had gotten while adventuring. He noticed he was sweating and was shaking.
'Not again…why do I keep having these nightmares?'
He kicked his sheets off him and jumped out of bed. He then yawned loudly and stretched. He looked towards his window and saw the light that was starting to appear over the horizon.
'Almost time for sunrise, might as well go have a shower and watch it,' he thought to himself and started to walk to his bathroom.

Sora sat on the paupou tree, staring far off to the horizon, waiting for the moment the sun would rise. Waves lapped at the beach's shore as the early morning breeze gently rushed through them. The sea was calm and still, almost as if it were waiting for the sunrise as well.
"Almost time," Sora thought out loud. He had always loved to watch the sunrise ever since he was little and on every single world he had travelled to he had made sure he had seen its own special and unique sunrise.
You are running out of time Key Wielder…
Startled, Sora jumped off the tree as a bright light erupted by his hand to reveal the Kingdom Keyblade as he looked around for the owner of the strange voice, but found no threat. He kept scanning the area, not overlooking the smallest detail, but still could not find anyone.
'I swear I heard someone…'
He sighed and slowly turned and jumped back onto the tree to watch the sunrise, only to find that the moment he had been waiting for had already passed and the sun had already risen.
"Aw man!" he shouted kicking the dirt with his over sized shoes and then scowled.
'Well there's always tomorrow I guess,' he thought sighing and then smiling.
"Well I might as well go find something else to do until the others come," he said to himself.
He jumped off the tree and began to walk down the bridge leading back to the main island. Suddenly he stopped halfway and searched the landscape still finding nothing. He looked back to the tree and shook his head.
'I guess I was only hearing things, but still…I could have sworn I had heard someone talking.'
He shrugged and then continued his way down the bridge back to his old happy self without a care in the world.
It won't belong now…
