Rachel talks to Kurt on the phone about his grandfather. Santana rises and asks Rachel about Brody. Rachel quotes Elizabeth Taylor: "My husband is dead. Why should I sleep alone?" She continues, noting Jesse is out of reach, Puck is getting religious, Adam is missing and Will is..." Santana interrupts, asking why Will is on her list of lovers. Rachel cries.
Kurt meets his extended family, but reveals no secrets.
Blaine reads his mail and finds an invitation to the New York wedding of the lesbian couple.
Tina answers the door to see an Asian man with an expensive gift for her.
Studying a large family tree, Kurt discovers that 17 of his great-grandparents' descendants are gay. They're curious about the genes. Kurt reveals nothing.
The Asian man talks to Tina. He tells her her parents pledged her as his bride when she was one and he was six. He's out of college and working in a biology lab in California. He's ready to marry her now.
Kurt talks to his cousins. One of them is a biologist and wants to study all their DNA.
Tina explains the engagement ring. She calls Blaine.
Sugar starts dialing Artie's cell phone.
Artie starts a tape recorder for Britney to talk about her plans. He answers the phone. He tells her he's tempted but has to spend the summer with Britney. As Sugar gets angry he tells her to ask her father.
Marley visits Ryder at home. He's surprised but pleased. She asks him if he really wants her. He sings It don't matter to me. She cries. They embrace.
Joining Tina, Blaine tries to explain to the Asian man the details of their relationship. They sing Love Stinks.
Kurt and his cousins share coming out stories.
Bringing Brody to audition, Rachel sees her understudy. They talk about the events of the past weeks. She shows Rachel the handbill of the play she's joining. Rachel notices a name in the cast: Jesse St. James.
Santana talks to Adam's Apples. None of them have heard from him. They sing Where in the world is Carmen San Diego.
Rachel introduces Brody to the producer. They do the scene that includes People who need People.. The producer wants Brody.
Sugar talks to Mr. Motta. He tells her Britney is not a threat to her. He tells her about the time machine. She suggests other uses for the machine.
Will tells the therapist Rachel is his favorite, followed by Holly, then Beiste. She asks about visitors. He'll accept anyone except his sister, one at a time.
Tina talks to her parents about their arrangement. They explain the history of the family and tradition.
