Love. It was one wound that everyone said you would feel, properly, at some point in your life. And perhaps you would, at some point. But it was just a word, wasn't it? Love. It couldn't burn someone like fire, nor wet them like water – you could not drown in it, or suffocate in it, or find that it was the only way to breathe freely. Love was not a solid something, was it? It was not diamonds, or roses or kisses or stars. It was not tears or laughter or pain or joy. Love was not something to purge, nor was it something to dirty. Love was nothing but a word. Of course, that was all a lie of massive proportions. Love was all that, and more. Love was…unrequited.
Love was blonde hair and brown eyes; it was dimples and high cheekbones. Love was smoke and fire, earth and air and lakes and trees, the moon and the sea. It was veins, blood boiling up behind your mouth. Love was holding hearts, looking into each others eyes and wanting nothing more than them. Love was never being able to eat, never able to sleep; or it was dreams, nightmares, wishes, hopes. Love was never closing your eyes so you never lost sight of them, songs and poems foaming in your head and tyring, always wanting to break out on your tongue. Love was Cedric Diggory, who was with someone else.
Love; drowning in it. Love; drunk on it. Love; dreaming with it. Love; dying for it.

It is terribly pesky isn't it? Lol, I love Cedric...and Cedric love is wonderful! I'm so glad you liked it. There is the small problem of not being able to tell it's Harry apart from the fact that I said it in the summary, but hey, what can you do? :D
Thanks for the review, I'm glad it met your approval. -glompage-

Thank you.
Well, no. But that was who I had in mind. I suppose you could put anyone you wanted in it in place of Harry, but I sort of wanted the anonymity in the story. That was one of the ideas...you know, of unrequited love and the person you love not knowing you even exist.
Thank you for the review!
