Monday June 28, day 45

Santana and the two Adam's Apples finish a marathon of French films in preparation for their trip. They sing Thank Heaven for little Girls in French, Spanish and English, becoming suspicious of each other.

Waking up on another steamy day, Mercedes sings Summertime and the Livin' is Easy.

Back in the lost packing, Santana asks Rachel about her plans. She tells her about the intern.

Lieutenant Gerard talks to Canadian officials about why they're not trying to recapture the Sylvesters. They tell him to recuperate. They'll handle it.

Having established that Joe loves her, Kitty talks to him about the practicalities of dating. They discover he has some objection to almost every movie, many restaurants, some sports and the beach. She asks why he posed for the calendar. He says he forced himself because it was her idea. She holds him too long and too tight.

Holly and the Spanish teacher meet on the football field for rehearsal. Mercedes, Quinn and the large black man arrive first. She introduces him and says Sam is too sick but plans to sing with them Sunday. Blaine arrives alone. Quinn is shocked when Kitty arrives clinging to Joe. Others are confused when Ryder arrives with Marley and Jake with Sugar. Tina arrives with the Asian man.

Emma's cousin calls Mrs. Abrams. She tells him Artie is still in Boston and can't return soon. She asks if she cares about her grandchild. Mrs. Abrams gets mad and hangs up, then cries.

New Directions sings the Battle hymn of the Republic.

Mrs. Abrams calls Artie. She tells him everything. He reminds her he has no job, no money and has to stay in Boston. She has to handle it.

Quinn confronts Kitty about Joe. They sing Hands Off.
