Itachi slowly opened his eyes and rolled over in his large queen sized red silk bed, only to feel someone else next to him. He quickly rolled back over and saw Tobi sleeping next to him

"What in the name of chakra are you doing in my bed?" Itachi asked sleepily, scooting away from Tobi.

"Itachi-san! It was horrible! I saw a spider in my room and no one would let me sleep with them!" Tobi answered in a pitiful tone.

Itachi sighed deeply.

"But Tobi why didn't you sleep in the guest roo- Wait, i had my door locked, how did you get in-" Itachi questioned before looking at the door. It had been destroyed and was in pieces.

"...How..." Itachi said lowly, clearly annoyed.

"I asked Kisame-san if he could open it and he opened the door for Tobi!" Tobi announced happily

"...This is going to be a long day..." Itachi thought, getting out of his bed and opening his closet which contained many Akatsuki cloaks. He grabbed one and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day, but was intercepted by Kisame after he left his room.

"Not right now Kisame, not in the mood" Itachi said in an annoyed low tone.

"Come on, you knew it was funny" Kisame taunted, smiling and purposely showing his sharp shark teeth.

"Not. Right. Now." Itachi repeated, even more annoyed than previously.

"Anyway we got a mission to do. Today we have to get some extra Ryō since Kakuzu went missing a while ago. We are really low on funds now" Kisame announced.

"Give me five minutes and i will be ready" Itachi replied, going to the bathroom tiredly.

He washed his face, put on his shoes, his necklace his Akatsuki cloak, he was as ready as he'd ever be. He then walked out of the bathroom and to the exit. There he saw Kisame waiting for him.

"So we have to get extra Ryō? Easy enough. All we need to do is... Wait, how DO we get Ryō Kisame?" Itachi questioned, since they we are criminals it would be quite difficult.

"We could do what Kakuzu did and capture valuable people?" Kisame replied, shrugging and beginning to walk.

They both walked to the nearest town to look for opportunities. They quickly noticed some events going on. One was a Sake drinking contest, a kunai throwing competition and a gambling area nearby. Hundreds of people were there and made it difficult to maneuver through it all.

"We can't do the kunai competition... That might draw suspicious..." Itachi said quietly to Kisame.

"Dude, do you not notice what we are wearing?" Kisame replied, pointing to their cloaks.

"...Oh yeah... What could we do then..." Itachi stated. Thinking hard on the subject.

"Sake contest" They both said in unison, quickly walking over to the stand.

The stand was covered in flashy advertisements and over-the-top claims.

"What can i do fer ya fellas? We got several challenges goin' on currently" The man at the stand asked, appearing from beneath the stand, handing Itachi a list.

"Drink ten Sake bottles in under two minutes? I will go for that one, you should go a little lighter" Kisame pointed out, trying to look at the list.

"Have you fellers decided on which one you'd like to do?" The man asked happily.

"Yeah, my partner wants the ten bottle challenges. I will go for the thirty bottle challenge" Itachi replied calmly.

"Thirty bottle challenge? Whew boy last time someone attempted that they got alchohol poisoning" The man uttered. Giving both of them a questioning look.

"Alright, thirty bottle challenge is ten thousand Ryō per attempt. The ten bottle challenge is four thousand" The man noted, holding out his hand.

Itachi searched for his wallet in his cloak but couldn't find it anywhere. "Must've left it in my room..."

"Hey Kisame, you don't mind paying for this do you?" Itachi teased with a smile.

Kisame sighed and grabbed his shark plushie wallet and pulled out fourteen thousand Ryō and handed it to the man, who then laid out many bottles on a large table.

"Good luck" Was all the man said before grabbing a timer.

"Ready, Set, Go!" The man yelled, hitting the top of the timer to start it.

Itachi quickly drank six bottles in a few seconds, while Kisame wasn't doing as good and took much longer. Itachi finished at a record of twenty seconds while Kisame lost after passing out on the sixth bottle. He was very disappointed that he didn't win

Itachi won the jackpot of five hundred thousand Ryō, which wasn't half bad. They just needed a lot more.

"How in heck was you able to drink that fast? Much less Sake" Kisame questioned, still staggering from the Sake before.

"S rank missing-nin. I could have downed a hundred bottles in under a minute if i wanted to" Itachi replied, smiling at how he didn't feel any different while Kisame was having a hard time walking.

"Next is the gambling hall. Don't get mad and break the machines like last time" Itachi told Kisame. Who was now leaning on Itachi for support.

Itachi then handed Kisame two hundred thousand Ryō and told him to do whatever he wanted.

"SCRATCH CARD TIME. FINALLY GONNA WIN ONE OF THESE CURSED THINGS!" Kisame announced loudly before speeding off.

"Hello there. Which brand do you want?" A woman said next a bunch of ticket machines.

"Hmm... Konoha Millionaires? I'll take three of those" Kisame replied, handing her a small wad of Ryō. She took the money and gave him three Konoha Millionaire scratch cards.

Kisame happily ran back to Itachi who was sitting down at a roulette machine.

"ITACHI ITACHI. I HAVE A GOOD FEELING ABOUT THESE!" Kisame yelled a bit too happily.

"Now now, don't get too excited. Remember last time?" Itachi pointed out.

Kisame ran to Itachi holding a large stack of cards.

"I'M BOUND TO WIN SOMETHING!" He exclaimed, before spending nearly an hour scratching off them all.

"What'd you win?" Itachi asked, hoping he at least got his money back.

Kisame had his head held down low holding a single card.

"500 Ryō..." He said sadly.

"BUT THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR SURE!" Kisame said excitedly.

He then proceeded to scratch off a card with his teeth.

"...You know you have fingernails right?" Itachi asked, wondering why Kisame was doing that.

"Oh, right." Kisame replied, realizing what he was just doing.

He then scratched off the rest of the remaining card.

"ITACHI ITACHI!" Kisame yelled, surprising Itachi.

"Eh? What'd you win?" Itachi asked, not really interested.

"TWO THOUSAND! THAT COVERED THE COST OF THE CARDS!" Kisame exclaimed happily and grabbing another card.

Itachi facepalmed and went back to his roulette machine.

Kisame continued to scratch off another card. He won nothing that time.

He then scratched off the final card slowly. It revealed six stars.

"HOLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SHARKKKKKKKK SKINNNNNNNNNNNS ITACHI I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT I WON IT!" Kisame screamed loudly, scaring a lot of other people there.

Itachi was taken by surprise by this. Kisame wasted tons on those forsaken cards and he finally won one?

"FIVE HUNDRED MILLION FIVE HUNDRED MILLION ITACHI DO YOU HEAR THAT FIVE HUNDRED MIILLLIOOOONNNNN" Kisame yelled with his fists in the air.

"I doubt they'd give us it. We're criminals" Itachi told him.

Kisame's happy attitude quickly turned to sadness.

"UNLESS. We tell them to send it to our houses. Which nobody knows that Akatsuki lives there" Itachi said, Kisame practically exploded with happiness.

"We are back" Itachi yelled.

Kisame was carrying two wheelbarrows full of Ryō, which surprised the Akatsuki members.

"Where the hell did you get all that?" Hidan asked, grabbing tons of Ryō.

"Yeah, did Itachi-san steal it like last time?" Tobi also asked, looking at the wheelbarrows in awe.

"No. I WON IT!" Kisame proudly exclaimed.

"And thats not all" Kisame added, fully opening the door and revealing tons and tons of more wheelbarrows outside.

"Yep. Looks like Kisame needs to do this more often" Itachi said, looking at all the wheelbarrows

"...Well that solves the money issue..." Pain said in the background, reading his Evil Geniuses Monthly magazine.
