So this will basically be a series of short drabbles on KarenDan, I picked them for a challenge, so this is my collection, there will be 100 of them in all.

It's been one long year, since I last felt his arms around me.

Back then I had gone to him and hugged him because he helped our son Lucas.

Now, it was different, he needed me.

Someone was saying he was a murderer and I didn't believe them.

Dan might be a lot of things, but he wouldn't have killed Keith.

And when I hugged him, it brought me back.

Back to the days of high school, when we were in love.

The last time he hugged me was the night he was leaving, promising me he would be back.

He came back all right, with a wife and another son.

But now I knew I was crazy for falling for him again.

But I couldn't help it, in his arms, I felt comfort, I felt safe, like nothing would harm me as long as I was with him.
