Now that the short explanation is over, here's my and HnK's take on the past year's events. (This was actually work to begin with...but then we got creative and, well...a little carried away...we got bored in an English lesson, OK?!)
And I don't own Buffy the Vampire Slayer for all those people who picked up on the reference. It was HnK's idea anyway...I think, and I can't speak for her.

2000-2001
Here we are, come to the end of yet another year at Rickmansworth School. We find ourselves looking back on the more memorable events of the year.
One such time being, of course, that tragic (yet still memorable) 'accident' involving a very annoying ***** and a couple of throwing knives. Sorry about that by the way. (not really)
Along with the more light-hearted incidents that have occured this past year, we have witnessed many horrific events (we've been the cause of most of them, actually)...but these must all be put behind us. (please?)
We would alos like to thank everyone who did everything possible for the school in the past year. So...um...thanks to...those people!
This obviously includes those marvelous people working tirelessly in the school shop, who managed to sell three socks and half a tie (the other half regrettably missing since 'Fluffums' was let in to 'play' one day)>
Of course, you cann't forget the staff (unfortunately); whol keep the school alive. (alive?)
Nor can you forget the 'unfortuante' incident when a (former) member of the school burnt the gym down. Apparantly, there was a 'great evil' emenating from it. (Mrs. Foster was also tragically lost in the blaze)
In a completely unrelated matter, a Miss Summers has now been admitted to St' Mary's resident mentally impaired center, where she has destroyed one hundred and thrirty cubicles, burnt down the doctor's surgery and blown up one toilet to date.
Our one successful sport event of the year (national tiddlywinks championship) had a surprising twist to it, which nonw of us shall be able to forget in a hurry. Incidently, there will be a collection for those suffering from trauma and also to rebuild the swimming pool and music block to their former glory at the end of the year.
Finally, the 'classical' music concert in July was a marvelous event. You may be pleased to hear (if you can) that all instruments remain intact and only one faculty member suffered any permenant loss of hearing. As for the musicians involved...well...may they rest in peace.
On a closing note, fencing and shooting lessons will be added to the normal timetable for all middle and upper school pupils who wish to participate. (God help us...)

As for why I posted this here...do not ask, for I do not know.
