Author's Note: I realize that some people may or may not like this pairing but for this plot it is essential. Some of the contents will be very questionable so please remain with me. I have a reason for this. It builds. This story is short. I mean only a few chapters long but these chapters will be long, full of character building and plot development. There will be some cliff hangers but they will provide you with a sense of suspense and a sense of wanting more. I do this on purpose. Thank you and I hope you enjoy this story.

Fates True Destiny

Prologue

Kagome has had a rough life thus far. Her grandmother passed away when she was five, her father was murdered on her seventh birthday, and she was thrown five hundred years into the past to deal with the stresses and the lives of demons and humans alike. No easy feat.

Once again the fates have not been kind to this young lady. She is now twenty years old and was thrown into a different world all together, or so she thinks. She didn't know anyone here, so she travels around this world healing people since she has learned to maintain control over her powers. She also learned how to tell if people were meaning harm or not, and she was still learning. She finally figured out that the people here have something else that within their body. She couldn't quite explain it. It was rather puzzling to her.

During one of her trips to heal a village that had come down from a sudden outbreak of some unknown sickness she found out what this something was in their body. While she was healing the sick, a band of ninjas came through the village raiding the valuables and killing everyone in sight.

Kagome leapt in front of a child that was about to be slaughter and blasted the man away only to have 3 more return in his place. She grabbed her twin katanas and struck each enemy down with her fast speed. They didn't see her coming because she infused her feet with her miko abilities and gained a demons speed. It was when she was losing her stamina that she started becoming slow and more enemies were attacking her.

She was struck by one of the ninjas that attacked her from the side knocking her completely off her feet and skidding the ground on her side. Her enemies were moving towards her and she couldn't get up. It was then a young man with long flowing white hair appeared and took care of the rest of the ninjas. He went back to her and tried to help her up only for her to collapse in his arms.

"Thank you" was all she was able to say before she lost consciousness.
