A/N: This is a story I found recently that I wrote like 2 years ago so I decided to post it! I own nothing except my own character Please enjoy!
The book in front of me had begun to bore me after about the first few sentences. I just wanted to shut it and find something better. But if I did I would miss my chance to study with my crush…Remus Lupin.
He sat next to me reading the assigned ancient ruins chapter and taking notes. I was finally getting the chance to study with him! It only took like forever to get the nerve to do it though. I wasn't sure what it would actually be like to study with Remus though. The only I really thought about was the fact that I would get to spend time with him. But as soon as we go to the library Remus made up a plan for studying the chapter. For 20 minutes we would read chapter 12 and then take notes while doing so. After we would compare and combine the notes.
Of course I eagerly agreed to his plan although I hated reading, especially about ancient ruins, with a passion and I sucked at taking coherent notes. So I agreed to a study plan that involved only my two weaknesses. Shows why I need help studying…
"Katy."
The voice shook me from my thoughts.
"Katy times up. Let's compare notes."
I looked down at my blank piece of parchment. All there was on it was a puddle of ink from where my quill had been raised over it. My face turned red from embarrassment.
"Um…I…well I."
He looked at me with an eyebrow raised, "I thought we both agreed to take notes?"
"Well we did but I got distracted and I was daydreaming about…things. Oh and something I should have mentioned before, I hate reading and therefore it's not my strongest ability and I kinda sorta truly suck at taking notes. I should have said something before but I just really wanted to study with you and not cause problems. And now I'm just rambling and making myself look dumb and I just act this way because I…"
I was cut off by lips crashing against mine. My eyes widened and I just sat there. Remus soon pulled away and he looked at me. I continued sitting there wide eyed but this time I was trying to form words, but I just couldn't.
'How could he have known of my crush?'
It was as though he could read my thoughts. He leaned in close again but this time his lips were by my ear and I shivered as I felt his breath on my ear, "Lilly told me."
He leaned back looking slightly smug at the deer in headlights look he had me transfixed in. But after a few minutes of me sitting there trying to register things a look of disappointment crossed his features. He turned back to his work looking slightly hurt. That's when it hit me. I hadn't said anything at all. I had just been sitting there like an idiot and I still was.
"Remus," I called to him. He looked up slightly and I grabbed his face and kissed him directly on the lips. Soon I let go for air though. We both parted panting slightly and both grinning like fools as well.
"Now let's get back to studying."
I groaned and let my head slam on the table. Remus just laughed.
