Summary: A different perspective on the future Trance and Beka in the alternate universe, before the switch. Femslash. Love/hate.

A/N: Just an idea that was running through my head tonight, so I managed to write it down. Includes femslash, but nothing graphic. Trance's thoughts are in italics. I haven't watched the series in a long time, so bear with me if it seems completely unreal. Reviews are appreciated.

Their fingers were entwined as she leaned against the wall, lost in the ecstasy that seemed so familiar. Lips gently brushed against each other, hands gliding over each other's body. They moved in synchronization, every moment was beautiful.

'Why was this happening?' she thought. The question screamed in her head a thousand times. 'I don't ever deserve this.'

Maybe she was right, as this reality seemed too perfect. It was her fault that the others were gone. The two hated each other, yet this felt so good. She reached out to grab something as she felt her balance becoming unstable. Emotion cut through her heart like a knife. The pain made her fall to her knees.

Beka knelt down and looked directly at Trance. She grinned and slightly chuckled. 'This is what she wants...' Trance thought.

"Did you forget what happened?" Beka asked.

'Maybe...'

It was in that last moment that she had forgotten the pain from the past few months. It was just Beka and Trance left; everyone else was either lost or dead. She felt her heart breaking down as Beka continued to seduce her. Minutes passed by even though it had felt like hours.

'We have to break free,' her mind screamed. She breathed in deeply and looked up at Beka, stabilizing her emotions. She felt so fragile. With one swift motion, she grasped Beka's neck, forcing her to look into the eyes of a fearless warrior.

"Get on the floor," she firmly said. An evil smile crossed Trance's face. 'One day, I'll get out of this hell.'
