Be prepared for a lotta misspellings because of Jar Jar's awful talk while his tongue's numb. I did my best; if anyone wants to yell at me for totally messing up with the speech please do so.
Jar Jar loped around nervously, his long head swerving from side to side. His tongue was numb and swollen until it was twice the size of his thumb. He really should have listened to young Anakin's warning to stay away from the energy binders. Now he couldn't speak-or at least audibly. And everyone seemed fine with that- except for him. He was bored out of his mind!
As he sullenly explored the Skywalker place and the surrounding area, he stumbled out onto the balcony-and right into Qui-Gon Jinn. "Eh-squeesh me," Jar Jar pardoned himself.
"What did you say?" Qui-Gon asked kindly, pitying the obviously confused gungan. He was confused, too, because he hadn't been around at the moment of Jar Jar's mishap.
"Squeesh me!" Jar Jar repeated with a little more spirit.
"Alright." As if moved with compassion, Qui-Gon engulfed Jar Jar in a tight bear hug. Jar Jar was left straight as a stick with his arms glued to his sides; appalled.
"Gah! Ish thine! Ish thine!"
"Thine?" Qui-Gon frowned.
"Thine!" Jar Jar blubbered.
Qui-Gon's eyes darkened and he released Jar Jar. "Did you just say 'it's mine'?"
"Nu!" Jar Jar waved his hands frantically, noticing the Jedi growing concerned and wary. "Wesha good palos, Mashter Jinn! Chesh chesh!" Jar Jar found it very hard to say the word 'yes.'
"Master Jinn's... chest?" Qui-Gon frowned.
"Nu! Mesha shay chesh!"
"What?"
Jar Jar slapped his hand to his forehead. "Lookee, Misher Jinn shir, mah thung-" he opened his mouth to present his swollen tongue to Qui-Gon. Qui-Gon leaped back. Jar Jar grew frustrated; all he wanted to do was show him what was wrong. "Lemme blow yous!"
Qui-Gon hesitated. "Thanks for asking, Jar Jar, but no thanks."
"Buh yousha shee-"
"I've seen quite enough." Qui-Gon paused, searching for the right words. "I'm sorry, but I don't know you well. And if you dislike me for that-"
"Nu! I lobes you!" Jar Jar insisted.
"I'll... be right back. I hear Artoo calling," Qui-Gon said quickly. He doubled back and disappeared inside without acknowledging Jar Jar.
"Shtuphid," Jar Jar groaned.
Yeah, that's… it, unfortunately. Well, maybe I'll think up a way to continue this or something. Maybe Jar Jar will have a run in with another character.
