Reid cries as he presses his back into the cold, unwelcoming fabric of his mattress. This anxiety should have left ages ago.
But it has not. It is still here.
Anything can trigger it off, nowadays. He can hear Garcia's voice calling him.
"Reid? Is something wrong? You're holding your breath! REID!" Then he passes out.
This anxiety is debilitating. He can't breathe, he can't sleep, he can't remember. Some genius he is. An eidetic memory. It means nothing to him now. He is not a genius, he is a human being crying for help.
All that he has gone through, the pain, the addiction, Gideon leaving him didn't break him. A simple emotion has.
He is no longer SSA Reid. He is Spencer Reid, son of Diana Reid a paranoid schizophrenic. He is broken.
Reid rolls over and cries some more, the pain never leaving him and sleep never coming.
Author's note: I have an axiety disorder, so I know how debilatating it is. Anything can trigger it off, it's one of the worst feelings on Earth. ANYWAYS! Please review!
