After years of knowing her. I finally realized the truth, why I hated her after so many years. I was trying to hide my true feelings, squishing them down. I harped on every detail that wasn't perfect even if she was. Perfect. She is perfect.

Today is her Ordeal. She'll have to try and survive the terror the Chamber gives her. At this time last year, my best friend had his ordeal. He didn't last the night, whereas I did on mine. I can only hope for the best for my lady love.

I see her, ready to start the customary rituals. This is my chance to tell her how I feel. I want to run and kiss her, but my legs feel like jelly. My mouth wants to talk, but the lips are pasted shut. I stumble towards her. She turns.

"Hey. Walk with me," she tells me. Before my mind has even processed what she has said I am pulled in that direction. It's like I'm magnetized to come at her command.

"You have your Ordeal today. Are you nervous," I ask. Immediately I feel dumb. She knows she has her Ordeal and who wouldn't be nervous? It was the most pointless statement I have ever made.

"Yes, of course I am. You looked kind of out of it just a few minutes ago. Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Well, exceptforthefactthatIreallylikeyoubutIcannottellyoubecauseyoucouldneverlikemebackbecauseyouaretooperfectforthatandIusedtobereallycrueltoyou," I breathed. Wait, I cannot believe I just said that. Audibly too. What if she was actually following what I was saying. How can I distract her, make her forget about what I just said?

Then I made the most thoughtless and best decision in my life.

I leaned forward and kissed her slightly chapped, but still lush lips. It was bliss until she pulled away.

"I like you too, Zahir. With your support I think I can make it," she smiled against my lips and connected them completely once more.

"There never was a doubt of that, my love. Live for me,"

A/N: Yep, I love to talk so here I am talking! This is one of my favourite pairings. Also, I am extremely sorry about the really long string of words. That was just to show that he was talking really quickly. I was really pleased by the feedback on my other drabble.
