Lucy loved how it felt, his hands intertwined with hers, his sweet smell, and his soft yet firm lips against hers. She could stay like this forever, if only that was possible. Loke pulled away, leaving her just to stare at his handsome face. He really was the handsomest boy she'd ever met.

He smiled at Lucy, "Come out with me tonight."

"What?" she tilted her head.

"Come out with me tonight. Let's go somewhere."

"Okay." She nodded her head and smiled.

Loke grabbed her hand and they left her apartment.

"Where are we going?" Lucy asked.

"Just to the park." He said happily. It was rare that Lucy actually agreed to go out with him, and, honestly, Loke didn't think she would've agreed. However, she did, and he was really happy and excited.

Once they got to the park, Loke just sat down and leaned his back against a tree, Lucy did the same.

Lucy looked up at the sky, "The stars are so beautiful tonight."

"They're not half as beautiful as you." He smiled honestly.

Lucy looked away, blushing. The sparkle in her eyes drove Loke crazy and all he wanted was for those sparkly gems to look his way.

"Lucy," he said softly.

She turned to look at him.

"I love you."

"I love you too." She smiled lightly.

Loke couldn't control the blush that he felt forming on his face. That was the first time she'd said it back to him. It sounded beautiful, coming from her.

"I'm so glad." He leaned over and kissed her cheek.

Lucy smiled. All she could think about, and all she wanted to think about, was him. Of course, as usual, thinking about Loke lead her to the fact that they couldn't be together. She was a Celestial mage, he was a Celestial Sprit. Actually, he was more like the Spirit. After all, he was Leo the lion, the leader of the Spirits. The two couldn't be together. Thinking about this made her chest tighten and she swore her heart might have stopped for a second.

"Lucy?" Loke lifted her chin so that she was looking at him. "It doesn't matter that we shouldn't be together."

"How did you…" she trailed off.

"I can read you like a book. And Lucy, it doesn't matter if I'm not human. Our love is too strong for anything to stand in our way."

"Is that one of your cheesy pick-up lines?"

"I've already told you, everything I say to you is the truth. I would never lie to you, Lucy." He held her hands between his own and looked her in the eyes.

Lucy could tell he meant it, but she was still afraid. Loke used to be such a play boy, using a bunch of stupid pick-up lines on girls. She was scared that it was all just an act. Lucy wanted to trust him, she truly did. It's just…complicated.

"Please trust me; I really love you so much."

She nodded, "I do trust you, and I love you just as much."

And that was all either of them needed to say.
