smiled as eh sat with his arms wrapped around Kate.
"Do you
like the name Dylan?" Kate asked.
"I do," Mike
answered.
Kate grinned as she lent back into Mike's embrace. They
were expecting their first son in two months. The Navy had allowed
Mike and Kate to continue working on the same ship.
"Are you
complete?" Mike questioned.
Kate's eyse gleamed as she turned
to face Mike, his face full of happiness.
"Yes and soon we'll
be a complete family," Kate told Mike.
ET watched as Nav
played with Dylan, who was 20 months old, while Mike and Kate were in
a meeting. Dylan turned around hearing a door open.
"Mummy
and Daddy," Dylan yelled as he raced up to them.
Mike picked
Dylan up and sat him on his hip, his other arm wrapped around Kate's
shoulders.
The crew of the Hammersley waited for the coming
announcement.
"Good news, we've been granted two months shore
leave," Mike told everyone.
A cheer came up from the crew.
Mike put down Dylan and with the Hammersley crew lined up behind him,
Kate to his left, they all turned to Commander Marshall and
slauted.
"Yes yes, go on you're all wasting time here,"
COmmander Marshall dismissed everyone.
They all left NAVCOM
chatting away.
"You coming to Cheffo's?" Nav asked
Kate.
"No. We've got a quiet family night planned," Kate
replied.
Mike walked with Kate who was holding Dylan's hand as he
rambled on. Mike wrapped an arm around Kate's waist with a smile
plastered on his face like everyone else wore.
"Now we're
completed," Kate grinned.
