She watches him, but he doesn't notice. Everyday he trains or sleeps and she watches him. He should know that the eyes he feels on him are hers, but he doesn't notice. She does little things to help him notice, but he is too oblivious to notice. He should know the only reason she sits on the deck at the same time as him is so she can watch him. She watches his muscles tense and relax as he swings his weights. She watches his chest rise and fall as he sleeps. She watches his every move and he doesn't notice. She is intent on watching him for she knows some day he will notice.
He watches her, but she doesn't notice. Everyday she reads and lounges and he watches her. She should know the aura surrounding her is his, but she doesn't notice. He does little things to help her notice, but she gets too preoccupied to notice. She should know the only reason he stays within her sight is so that he is able to watch her. He watches as her fingers tread her book and her eyes grace through the words written. He watches her hair flow in the wind. He watches her every move and she doesn't notice. He is intent on watching her for he knows if she notices he will lose her.

She does little things to help him notice, but he is to naïve to notice. He should know the only reason she stands so close or is always there is so she can watch him. She watches him play and laugh as he runs around the deck. She watches as he gorges down all the food and impatiently waits for the next adventure. She watches his every move and he doesn't notice. She is intent on watching him for she knows he can not share her feelings.
He watches her, but she doesn't notice. Everyday she gives orders and he watches her. She should know that he enjoys making her smile, but she doesn't notice. He does little things to help her notice, but she can't see past his goofiness to notice. She should know the only reason he fights so hard is so he is able to watch her. He watches as she navigates through terrain no one should tread. He watches her tanning in the sun. He watches her every move and she doesn't notice. He is intent on watching her for he knows if she notices he will take away her smile.
On the deck she feigns reading, he feigns sleep, she feigns authority, and he feigns ignorance and all the while they are watching. It is their life, because they know after their journey is over they will reveal their feelings to each other.
