The last thing I felt was teeth sinking into my neck. I had to trust him, knowing I had forced him to do this. The fire came. I could not hold back my screaming. "It's okay Bella, it will all be over, it is okay. I love you." Edward refused to leave my side. I screamed and screamed. The burning continued for a few days. Finally, it was gone. Edward was still by my side. He looked up and I grabbed him bringing him closer and telling him how it was gone and I loved him. My lips reached his and they stayed there. I didn't find the need to breathe. I still loved him. Transforming did not change my feelings toward the man infront of me. I pulled back. I needed to see if my appearance was any different."I love you," I whispered. I stood up and he followed me. I walked towards the mirror, taking in what stood in front of me. It was not possible, I waved my hand to see the figure wave their hand too. My features were flawless. The curve of my nose and lips were perfect. My eyes were scarlet and large. My skin color was white. My hair was halfway down my back and wavy. My future would be different from now on. No more food, just blood. Edward would be mine for eternity. I would be stronger, swifter, and what if I had some powers? The Volturi would not have to kill me now, well I hope they would have no reason to kill me later." Charlie. His face was clear in my mind. How could I just have let him go, he had his goodbye and thought I was still going to Dartmouth. A year was enough for me. I choose this life, to be a vampire. My family was all behind me.

"How do you feel Bella?" Carlisle asked.

"I'm fine, thank you."

Rosalie frowned, she did not like the idea of me becoming a vampire.

"Now we won't have to worry about sucking your blood." Emmett chuckled.

Esme came up to hug me. Alice danced to my side. Jasper moved closer to Alice. Jasper could be as close as he wanted without killing me. I smiled and turned around.

"Now, only one problem. I need instructions on how not to kill humans." I gave a weak smile.

"Don't worry, we won't let you." Edward grinned at me.

"I'm wondering if you have an special powers yet." Carlisle said.

"I really don't know." I answered.

"I still can not read your mind." Edward informed.

"I see your future." Alice stated.

"Anyways, we should teach her how to hunt." Edward said. Hunting? I already imagined I would trip over out in the woods. I groaned. Edward smiled.

"I won't let you trip or hurt yourself, let's go."

We ran to the woods. It was amazing, I didn't trip and the feeling was so free. I didn't feel nasious anymore. My worries disapeared behind me as I ran. It was almost like flying, but safer. I held Edward back only a bit now. When we reached our destination Edward stopped me.

"Let us try with some dear, there is a female running away from us, just run and lunge and bite. It is not that hard, follow the smell."

I ran and Edward ran behind me, the smell became stronger as I ran closer to the deer. The blood was not mouth watering, but it wasn't bad. I went for the innocent female deer. My teeth sank into the fur and I drained the blood out of her. Even after my "snack" I longed for sweeter blood.

"That was great for your first time." Edward told me.

"Could we try some more?"

"Of course.

We had five more deer. It was enough for now. We ran back to our family. The wind sending my hair back. The breeze felt great. Being a vampire was better than being human so far. Why did everyone complain? My sight was even more than perfect, I could observe so much more and I could see so much further. Every detail was there in front of me and I just needed to catch it. My hearing was amazing, everything was so clear and I could pick up sounds for a mile away. This would take some time to get used to, but it was pretty... cool.
