Look into my eyes, Twilight Sparkle. I said LOOK! Yes, that's it. I cup your chin with my lion paw, staring into your violet eyes. Swimming with fear, anger, and...oh yes, and depression.

Why is it you're experiencing these emotions? Is it because I splattered you apple-bucking friend across the pavement? She's still around. She's got an 'eye' on that door. I laugh at my twisted joke, you fight back the salty tears brimming your eyelashes. Hey, you're standing in some of her right now! You look down, swish your cracked hooves through the thick swampy flesh and vomit on my arm. Just to mock you, I materialize her hat onto my horned head. You grit your chipped teeth, giving me a rush of satisfaction.

Are you also mad I tore off the loyal one's wings? She's around here somewhere...perhaps floating around in the sewers with rats gnawing at her rotting flesh. You tearfully tell me her name is 'Rainbow Dash.' Ugh, what an awkward name. The world's a better place without her flying around, that's for sure. What was that? I'm plunging the world into chaos? Well, you seem my dear, the world was already in chaos centuries before my shadow loomed over this accursed place.

Speaking of shadows, what about the shy one? What do you make of her? She loves animals. I'm going fishing later, she'll lend me a hoof...or a tongue, or maybe even an eye. Doesn't that sound fun? Salty tears slide down your scarred face giving me a feeling rejuvenation.

Look down there, Twilight Sparkle. Your reddened eyes shift down the side of the cliff, down to the shore. You gasp at the sight of your friend, the generous one, rigged up to a bomb. I tell you how she's going to be blown to smithereens if you don't save her in five minutes. You call me a monster, I grin. But you could save her. You could take a leap of faith, a plunge into the abyss of rock and weed below. If you survive, then you may be able to save her. You smirk, saying how you could use your horn. Well, you see, I may have done something a little...chaotic. Your horn vanishes, you grimace at my twisted face.

A set of wings appear on your sides, a sky blue shade, with layers of soft plumage overlapping one another. You choke up at the sight of 'Rainbow Dash's' borrowed appendages. Here's where it get's tricky. You've never had any experience flying. But you want to save your friend, correct? I start to cackle like a maniac. Well, technically, I am. If you can't adapt to your new abilities, your corpse will break upon impact of the ground. Blood, shattered bones, all that glorious chaos will no longer be a dream in my head, it'll be a reality. OR you could save your last surviving friend by gracefully flying down to her and disarming the explosive, but I'll get away, leaving Equestria to be the clay in my palm, being shaped into a utopia. Out of anger, you bite my thumb. I ignore the pain. There is a third option, you could save your own skin and Equestria's as well if you decide to kill me, right here, right now. I'll let you, I promise. It's part of the fun. But you'll lose your friend, forging her into a red chili explosion.

You call me a sick bastard, I laugh. Twilight, your whole life has been full of gambles. You gambled coming here, you gambled trying to stop me, you gambled at accusing your brother's wife to be a monster. The list goes on. But now, it's time for you to make your last gamble. I release you from my iron grasp. Take your pick, Twilight Sparkle. Like the self-righteous fool that you are, you take a running leap off the cliff to save Rarity.

I turn and begin walking away, not even bothering to hear the heavy thud of a body slamming against pavement, followed by the splatter of blood on rocks, and the final screams of your friend. You made a gamble Twilight Sparkle, and it's a bet that was utterly misguided.

The End
