Spoilers: Season 5, episode "At Rest"

A/N: After watching the promo for this episode (5x19), I made up my own version of what I think is going to happen in that scene where Sam goes: "What do I do?" So, if any of this appears in the real episode..I made it first:P Once again, this is happening in my own happy little J/S world. Please review and let me know what you thought about it.

The case was finished, but Sam was still in the office. Her mind racing too fast for her to catch up with up. Her heart beating like that of the North American Least Shrew. Her palms emitting waterfalls of sweat. She walked over to Jack's office, noticing his desk lamp on.

"Jack," she said as she opened the door to his sanctuary. "I…" Her voice trembling and she was fighting back to hold the tears that wanted to overflow her eyes.

"Is everything all right?" He stood and walked over to her, motioning for her to sit down.

"No, I can't sit down. I just…"

"You what? Talk to me,"

A deep silence enveloped the room.

"What do I do?" The tears that had been accumulating underneath the surface of her skin now moistened her cheeks.

Jack raised his hand to wipe the freshly fallen tears. His expression was one filled with compassion and love. "Sam…" A beat passed. "Come here," He pulled her into an embrace. She cried more freely now and buried her head in his shoulder. He rubbed her back, trying to calm her, and she let all of her emotions out on his suit jacket. She raised her head and looked at Jack. "Better?" He asked as he rubbed her cheek with his thumb.

She nodded. "Thank you." She brought their faces together until their lips touched. The temperature in the room seemed to rise. Jack's hands instinctively dropped to Sam's hips, while she began to take off his suit jacket.

Suddenly Jack pulled away before some "night owl" in the office saw them. "Why don't you go home? I'll be over in a while, I just have to clean up here."

"Okay,"

Sam turned around, walked out the door, and was about to make her way to the elevator. "Where's your jacket?" Jack said as he walked into the hallway.

"I didn't bring one today because it was pretty warm outside."

"Here, take this." He began to shed the jacket of his suit and handed it to Sam.

"I think I'll be fine," She said, not wanting to accept the jacket.

"Just take it."

"All right." Placing her arms through the sleeves, she put it on.

"See, now you're warm and you don't look too bad in it either," A mischievous smile appeared on his face.

"Bye," She said smiling.

"Bye,"

She turned around and walked off relieved that Jack was going to spend yet another night with her. She was glad that she had opened up to him to allow her emotions out, but, at the same time, confused about how she was ever going to resolve her problem.
