First Impressions:

Beta read by UuenTheYueRyuu

When I first met him, god he was beautiful: hair a tousled mess of golden locks, tear stained cheeks red with sorrow, and thin body draped in the tattered remains of a kimono. He laid curled up on the floor, a bruised Adonis of a child and jumped with a start when I came to loom over him; he thought I was his tormentor returned.

He was absolute perfection, and, when he stared up at me with those large blue eyes, only one thought grew in my mind:

I must have him.

I bowed before this child, my hand resting over my heart. "How may I serve you, master?" I asked, but he didn't understand at first and looked at me in confusion.

"W-what?" His voice was harsh from overuse, but I was sure that that would pass with time.

"You have summoned me. How shall I serve you? I am but your humble servant now," I explained, and there was a silence in the air as he absorbed what I had said.

I'll admit that I half expected him to wish for something childish, such as to be whisked to some faraway place or something of the sorts (only children truly believe that they can out run their troubles), but then he, this beauty, looked up at me and with a voice that I was sure would come to rival that of the angels said, "Kill him…"

It was said with such resolve and with such passion that even I was taken aback and stared at the now serious expression straightening his features. Then my lips curled and I grinned.

"Very well, Your Highness."

And the look in his eyes when I said this was one that I will never forget.

Just something I thought of off the top of my head, the product of procrastination and sheer boredom. Claude's POV by the way.
