MARTIN'S RETURN

One splendidly warm spring morning at Redwall abbey some dibbuns were playing around Martin's tapestry." Watch this!" yelled Mattini she slashed the air with her wood sword and hit the tapestry, it fell and exposed a hidden passage (silence……………) "cool!" they whispered. "Um I think I can fit in there," supposed Mattini, confused. "Then go ahead and try," said Tommo the fox. So Mattini went into the passage, and it ended up in a rather large chamber. "Weird!" exclaimed Mattini. There was a door at the end of the chamber. Mattini jumped down and opened it. It lead to a long passage with a torchlight room at the end. She walked into the room, and found a small tomb at the end. Mattini opened it, and found that it was empty. Mattini saw muddy footprints, leading to a lighter area, this one made of bricks, on the wall to her immediate left. Mattini tapped the wall, causing it to revolve open. She walked through, and found herself once again in front of the tapestry. Her friends looked shocked, as if they'd seen a ghost. "What's wrong?" asked Mattini. "B-b-behind you," pointed Marl, a young mouse. Mattini spun around, noticing that Martins sword was… GONE! "I must go see Lady Zinth." Exclaimed Mattini there were paw prints on the floor she followed them into the dinning hall Martin's sword was on the table in dead center of the hall Mattini walked up to the table and picked it up. She heard a small voice from behind her. There was a young mouse, clad in a green tunic with brown pants. He told Mattini to go back to her friends at his tapestry. Mattini did, and when she did, she found out why he said 'My tapestry'. It must have been Martin the Warrior. But that, that was impossible. She decided to go ask Abbot Mortimer for suggestions. But Abbot Mortimer wasn't in his office. Instead, Martin the Warrior was seated there, with a worried expression about his face. "A stoat named Badrang has stolen your abbot. It is up to you and me now to rescue him. We will have to go through Mossflower and onto the flatlands. We will find a river that flows into the mountains, travel through the mountains into Salamandastron. There we will get help, and be able to destroy Badrang." So Martin and Mattini set out on their journey.
