INTRO- I, Mellisa Rosie Gonzales, had never been the center of attention of ANYTHING, and no one had ever cared about me, except for Alyssa which I called Aly, was the only one who actually cared. Starting Senior year in high school surely wouldn't help any more. But one thing I was sure about was, that NO ONE would ever be able to make me feel better. First Day back at school- "Hey Melly!" Aly said running to me and hugging me when she reached me.
"hi" I said, I didn't have much to say and wasn't in the mood for a long conversation. One good thing about Aly, she noticed when something was wrong with me but somehow always knew when I wanted her to ask what was wrong and when I didn't. "So, what classes do you have this year?" I asked to clear the space.
" Well seriously I haven't checked, I just like really don't wanna find out" she said quickly like a rehearsed speech. Then the bell rang. "Gotta go talk later" and I heard I faint "see ya" as I ran to class.
