When Serana's daughter Hikari finds her old journals Serana is sent back into the past to watch once more her childhood and everything that happened before and after her family.

Castle Volkihar post-war with Ulfric

9:00 p.m.

Serana pursued her youngest daughter Mikayla Arianas through the castle catching up with her just as one of the twins called to her.

"Hey, Mom! Come here!" The younger of the twins -Hikari Valerica- called. As she passed him she placed Mikayla in Dexion's arms. She sought out Hikari and Hikaras -who was never far from her twin for special reasons- and found them in the library. Hikari was holding a box and Serana stopped staring.

"Hikari, that box. Where did you find it?!" She demanded. Hikari looked a little startled. Serana walked over to her daughter taking the box then walking over to the nearby desk. She opened the box and lifted out the journals within. As she flipped through each one her mind was swamped with memories.
