I OWN NOTHING

Edward Elric

Edward looked down at his pocket watch. This watch represented, his life. All that he failed to do, and everything he must make up for. How he needs to get his brother's body back, … Never forget Oct.3...and be cautious of future mistakes. His new title Full metal Alchemist. How in the world did he deserve this title, if he could not protect what he loved. It was the only reason for the title. To protect people. After all the wrong he had done, this title was his saving grace. His future. He couldn't afford to screw this up, not again. Too many people depended on him now, just as they always did before. They counted on him. If only he could tell the future. He would have know at the age of 12 he joins the military, and will fight a war, fight beasts, fight sadness, fight himself…Maybe he wouldn't regret it even if In return he saved countless lives. In the end sacrifices his whole being for others. The Fullmetal alchemist truly lives for the people.

Ling Yao

Ling Yao, truly was a spoiled child. A child locked away with no perspective of the world, given everything he wanted. He grew up with wide eyes(A/N haha), and an open heart. Hearing tales of heros and adventure beyond belief in this unknown world outside his towering kingdom. Until one day he decided it wasn't enough for him. He wanted to see the world himself, and not through maps and studies. With no involvement in the outside world other than the squabbling politics of his siblings he set out with two companions. He wanted to effect his mystery word. make a story for his own. Without experience of hardship he set out without a care, letting his curiosity guide him. With the curiosity, however, came a small amount of greed. greed for knowledge, adventure, and idealism. That grew in his heart. A very strong need for control this, 'power' came with it . He let it control his, with it he gave up his life. He no longer lead his own life, but it lead him. By the time he realized it was wrong, it had consumed him. It was him. Those who cared for him begged him back, and safe in the life he used to have. He could not control it, he no longer controlled anything he did. None of this mattered to him, because he choose this for himself. His life was a dark hole, until the very moment he realized what truly mattered to him. He happily died for it, as any hero would.

Van Hohenheim

His life started out simple, so to say. He was the nameless twenty third house slave. He could've been content if he were more humble, but in fact he strove to be more. In his heart he knew there was not much hope. Until one day he stumbled upon something. A greater power It began as a dream, a mysterious force that makes little sense. It gave him a name. Hohenheim, a hope of his own. It also gave him great knowledge, which he shared with others. He wished to help people, that was all. When he asked his hope for more power, it gave it all to him. Hohenheim was consumed by it, and it changed him forever. He was filled by the millions of voices sacrificed for his knowledge. He was no longer human. In his sadness he left his life and lived alone. Quietly traveling, trying to fit in. To be human. Only stopping once, but to his great sadness he could not stay. For he was no longer human. He was a slave with no name. There he remains the unknown traveling man with such weariness in his eyes.
