"Sweetness"
He was so nervous, he wanted to bring the things she asked him. Alexandria was lacking a lot of supplies and Carol couldn't make cookies. He knows she loves to cook, it makes her feel better, it makes her relax, she can distract herself this way. So when Olivia told him there were not enough supplies for her to make cookies, he left on a run.
But he didn't know if it was enough,so he took everything. Flour, sugar, chocolate, fruits, a special thing to make pancakes, cakes, crepes.. so she could do anything not just cookies. He took a lot of milk and honey and everyting sweet he could find and when he decided to go back to Alexandria, he saw he has… taken it too much.
So here he was now… in a kitchen full of stupid things, sweet things just for her. The table, the aisle and everything was full of supplies… he couldn't find a empty spot in the kitchen..
- What the hell did you do, Daryl?- asked Rick while Glenn and him were looking at the kitchen in shock
- I just.. she needed… cookies.. fuck- he said as he looked at the kitchen. He even broke some eggs while he tried to put them in the fridge. So the kitchen was a mess
- And he says they're not together- whispered Glenn
- Shut up, Rhee- he said
And then she came into the kitchen looking in shock as well. He was feeling so embarrased, he wanted just to do a nice thing for her and he has fucked it up. But then she smiled, a smile bigger than the sun.
- Did you bring me so many supplies?- she asked smiling
- No.. just Daryl- said Rick
- Oh God.. Daryl- she said as she entered the kitchen to see better the supplies- Oh God, I will be able to make pancakes! I love them
He saw her as she walked around the kitchen smiling like a fucking kid in Christmas day and he felt like he has brought her the moon.
- So sweet- she said going to him caressing his jaw- Thank you, sweetheart- she said kissing his cheek- You want pancakes, boys?
- yes ma'am- answered Glenn and Rick smiling at her happiness
She started to make those pancakes while he stayed there frozen, looking at her with adoration and still touching his cheek.
That kiss...
