Goodbyes Aren't So Easy.

She didn't exactly know what to say when she heard it.

"I'm moving."

The guy she pretty much hated for the past 3 years, moving.

She had a pain in her stomach as she watched him load things into his mother's car.

Her eyes wide and watery, the wind blowing her blonde locks all around.

It was just so sudden, goodbyes were the hardest part.

He walked over to her, and the brunette, both. And took them in his arms and didn't even speak.

He let go of her and he faced the brunette, teary eyed and choked up.

"I'm only 6 to 10 hours away…California's not that far away." He said trying to make the situation better.

She snickered lightly, biting her lip.

"Not that far away," She muttered to herself, snickering. He turned towards her. The blonde who always had a snide remark.

"Your making this harder then it needs to be."

She sucked in the air, her face showed no signs of sadness.

"Who's making it hard? Buh-bye, Freddie." She said turning around, tears begging to escape her pale blue eyes.

He choked back a slight cry of dismal. He looked up towards the sky and faced the brunette, trying to smile.

"Goodbye Carly." He said, hugging her one last time as he turned to face her.

She was still turned around, looking at nothing. Trying to ignore the fact that he was going to be gone very soon.

"Sam?" He struggled to say her name, his voice cracking.

"What?" She condemned turning her head at a slight angle.

"Goodbye." He said beginning to walk away;

His foot steps slowly going in a pacing order. She heard a car door slam. She jumped. The engine started and the tires crushed the gravel driveway they were standing on.

She clenched her hands up into fists as the brunette just looked at her and shook her head slightly.

She then ran over to the car, chasing it from behind, yelling, screaming.

It stopped slowly. He turned around and saw from the rearview window, her pained expression. He looked away as he opened the door.

He seemed to stand there for a long period of time, hands in his pockets, overlooking her.

"Well?" He said shrugging his shoulders, his mother anxious to get going.

She approached him cautiously. Once they were face to face she finally spoke.

"Arrivederci Freddie." She said quietly, her lip quivered as she spoke.

He looked into her eyes, and knew just what to say.

""Me despido." He whispered into her ear, moving a trace of her hair behind her ear as he did so. She looked at him and gulped lightly.

"Mi mancherai" She said inaudibly.

He turned to her and smiled.

"El lateral derecho Atcha"

The brunette had a confused look on her face, but they didn't. They never seemed too.

She just slightly smiled and crossed her arms.

He began to walk back to his car shaking his head with a smile still plastered on his face, before she finally said one more thing.

"Ti odio."

He looked at her and raised his eyebrows, but with a sly smile replied,

"Te odio también."

And with that he got into the car and drove off to his new life, as the blonde gazed at the brunettes dazzled face. She just smiled and walked off.

The brunette rolled her eyes but laughed anyway.

"Some things never change."
