" Why the bloody hell did you choose a place full of snots?" Ghost complained to MacTavish across the table, who simply shrugged as he looked around, taking in the scenery of the restaurant
" Why not? We got in for free, didn't we?"
Ghost rolled his eyes. He hated coming to these fancy places, everyone looked like they had a stick up their arses.
" Aye. But everyone here is a complete-"
Ghost was interrupted by a loud clang. He looked beside him and observed Roach had dropped his fork and was now staring blankly at his half eaten plate.
" What's wrong laddie? There an eyeball in your food?" MacTavish laughed. His face turned more serious when Roach's face turned completely green.
" Roach?" The captain asked, raising an eyebrow. Roach snapped out of his trance and pushed his chair away from the table.
" Sorry, may I be excu-"
He coughed and gagged. In one swift motion the young man clamped a hand over his mouth and ran for the restroom.
" This place isn't that bad, is it?" MacTavish asked, concerned. Ghost shook his head and pushed away from the table.
" Something's up with the bug, ill go check on him."
Mean while…..
Roach burst into the bathroom stall and collapsed onto his hands and knees in front of the toilet.
" Don't throw up, don't throw up, don't-"
He heaved, losing his dinner into the bowl.
" One again, I have failed me. I hope no one sees me like-"
" You alright bug?" Ghost asked, entering the room. Roach groaned.
" Fuuuuuuuuuuck me."
" Roach?"
The twenty one year old slowly stood and sighed heavily.
" Yeah, im fine. Im kind of allergic to-"
Another wave of nausea fell over him. He swayed and leaned against the stall door.
" Roach? You okay mate?" Ghost asked slowly, taking a step towards his friend. Roach nodded weakly and closed his eyes.
" Im allergic to onions."
Ghost raised an eyebrow.
" That's weird. Im not going to lie."
Roach's only response was another groan. Ghost laughed and placed a hand on his friend shoulder.
" Come on mate, lets get you home. This place annoys me anyways."
" You sure you don't care? What about MacTavish?"
Ghost grinned.
" Since when do we care about MacTavish?"
I don't know why I wrote this. I was reading an article about onion allergies and this little story came to mind.
