Yet another fic written on a dark and stormy night. But I did do my research, and I couldn't find a single Star Wars written language for the blind (except for the Sith language, with hieroglyphs that were hooked and barbed, but… ow.) So I stuck with Braille, though it's not exactly accurate. If you have any idea what written language the blind use, lemme know!

What did Tahl do in the sensory deprivation device? Most likely she slept and wondered "where am I?" A lot of other accounts say she recounted her memories of Qui-Gon and grieved for the life they would never have together (for deep in her heart, she knew it was too late.) And of course, there were some who claim it was a conspiracy and that Tahl is still out there…

Do I believe this? No. I believe she did the most obvious thing of all-something all readers can relate to. She read.

(As mandated by Senate code number five thousand five hundred forty nine, all manufactured items must have all necessary warnings and cleaning instructions printed in Basic, Huttese, Muun, and Braille is compliance with manufacturing code eight hundred five, which states all necessary warnings and cleaning instructions must be printed on both the interior and exterior of all goods.)

Since the Absolutes got all the parts to that horrendous torture machine from a variety of factories (some of which thought they were merely selling them coat closet parts; others of which were perfectly fine making pieces for torture), their sensory deprivation devices had warning and cleaning instructions both inside and out in four languages.

Tahl was, inevitably, bored. Back at the Temple when she was bored, she read. It wasn't much different in the sensory deprivation device. She read all the labels over and over and over until her fingers were callused and she could recite them from memory.

Warning: Do not store victim at temperatures over 120 degrees. Torture to be administered through injection only. Do not place in direct sunlight. Do not shake. If seal is ruptured, throw out. Do not drop. Do not store near flames. THIS IS NOT A TOY. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

To clean: hand wash, cold water only. Wash with like colors. Air dry.

That's it. It's rather short; which is a fail. I think I will work on revising/adding to this… so if you have any comments, review now!
