A/N: Another part of the story, What if Ezri had caught Worf and Julian argue ? A small amount of time later.

I don't own Star trek or any of the characters.

Musings.

I stare at her as she drinks with him.

They don't know I am looking over them, watching them laugh, watching them talk together.

They clearly belong.

Unlike me.

No, I used to belong to her former host. Jadzia.

My Jadzia.

When she first stepped foot on the station, I tried to stay away from her. I even told her I did not wish to know her. I watched as she and the Doctor started talking to one another in the replimat. They held hands.

I was furious.

They were dishonouring my wife's memory. Her honour was at stake.

I could not permit that.

I threatened Bashir in his own Infirmary, I held him up physically and was prepared to harm him. Ezri over heard our argument and she shouted at us.

At me.

She yelled that she wanted nothing to do with the Dax legacy, that it was more trouble than it was worth.

Ezri then claimed she was leaving after dealing with Garak. The Captain and I, the Doctor and Colonel Kira persuaded her to stay.

I do not regret that.

I feel whole.
