"Get that thing away from me!" the girl yelled.

"oh, come on, it's only a little worm!" Jensen laughed.

"Uncle Cougar!" The 8-year-old shouted, "Uncle Jake's being mean to me!"

Cougar looked out from under the Hat. He saw his husband - thinking of Jensen that way still gave him shivers after nearly a year – and his niece Hannah in the garden, Jensen had removed a large worm from the vegie patch and was waving it at his niece.

"Jake, jugar bonito." He said, smirking.

"That means be nice." Hannah informed Jensen, who grinned manically and waved the worm again.

"Mom!" Hannah shrieked, running into the house.

Cougar moved down the steps.

"That was mean, Carino." He put his arms around Jensen and kissed his cheek.

"I know." Jensen smiled, returning the kiss, "but it was fun."

"You know Jodie will kick your ass for this?"

"Of course, and you'll defend me from my big, scary sister."

"Will I?"

"Carlos!"
