I walked down the corridors of Hogwarts and suddenly was stopped by an arm blocking my path.
"Hello Hermione."
What the hell? What was the most popular boy in school doing talking to ME? Plain Jane Hermione Granger!
"Hey Draco." I said warily
What's he doing? WHAT'S HE DOING?
He pulled a curl that strayed from my loose bun and tucked it behind my ear.
My stomach triple flipped.
"So, I was wondering,"
Now my stomach was flipping and had butterflies too. For crying out loud, get a hold of yourself Hermione Granger!
"Would you like to go out with me? To Hogsmeade? This Saturday?"
"Why would you want to ask me?" I blurted out before I could stop myself
"Because."
"Because what?"
"Because I like you." he said, unashamed
"Oh..." I mumbled "See you on Saturday then."
I started to walk away flustered and ecstatic
"Is that a yes?" he called after me
"Yes!" I called back
Oh my god. I just scored a date with Draco Malfoy.
